Kay, Several of the Smith names in your list caught my attention. William and John, of course, were very prevalent in my line, but any name that begins with a 'P' and preceeds Smith immediately makes me perk up. My Anderson's brother was William P. Smith. My Smiths, at least in the 1850s and 1860s, lived in the Oaklawn section of Greenville. They seemed to be near the Tollisons and Reeses and then several of the families moved to Belton in Anderson County. Another clue: Anderson was born in GA. WP's obit states that he lived in Greenville most of his life except for a short time when he lived in Gainesville, GA. Are you familiar with the Drury Smith's? Drury's son George, in his will, left a sum of money to WP for care of Priscilla. 'Percilla', insane, was living with WP Smith, his family, and ANDERSON age 17 in Greenville in 1850. Do you hear any bells ringing? Good luck, Marion
