    3. My William Floyd had land on the Keowee River and Mile Creek - Pendleton Co., now probably Pickens Co. I found 4 William Floyds on the 1790 census. Are there any mentioned in the book you have? He had sons named Alexander, Elisha, William, and David. His daughters married Tubb, Hargis, Moore, and Muckleroy/McElroy (other spellings) Also, I have an Anthony Burrows who lived in Pendleton Co. on SIX Mile Creek and Keowee River. His wife's name was Elizabeth. All these families were in Franklin Co., Tennessee by 1810. I have an Isaac Allen born about 1801 in South Carolina. He may have family in Greenville, but I have not found his location. Also, I have cousins tied to the FOREMAN and BAILEY families; any one researching these families? I have a book entitled, SETTLEMENT OF PENDlETON DISTRICT,SC 1777-1800. It is from the Fredrick Van Clayton collection. If you will give me given, as well as surnames, I will see if it has anything for your ancestors. 3. I'd be interested in anything you find about Dorsey/Dossey/Dawsey or other variant spellings in the area during that time. Also any Kelly/Kelley entries. Thank you, Nancy Custer -----Original Message----- From: Isaquenia28@cs.com [mailto:Isaquenia28@cs.com] Sent: Friday, August 26, 2005 6:20 PM To: SC-OLD-PENDLETON-DIST-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [SC-OPD] The Golden Corner Is there anyone else on this list researching McMAHAN and/or OLIVER families?
