For your Alabama side there is a great book and many decendents of those from SC are in this book and the family who sent the articles name and addresses are there. It's a book called Heritage of Chambers County,AL book by Heritage Publishing Co. You maybe able to obtain a copy through your inner library loan dept at your local library. It's usually a free service. Might well be worth it.
