Hello, I'm also researching the same area for my gr gr gr grandfather Nicholas Briskey/Brisky and his wife Elizabeth Mark/Merck. In my researching I found many families migrated together around 1830's for land grants in GA and then some onto Chambers County,AL and surrounding areas. I have a copy of the heritage of chambers county,Al book by heritage publishing Co. And in the index there are two pages with connections with Morton page 70,263. Probably decendents. I have found many decendents for other families this way. There are connections with marriages to other families. Might be worth going to local library and asking them to order a copy through the inner library loan dept.
