Hi, on any list you will receive postings to who ever signs on to the bulletin board. That's how you can look at it like a big bulletin board. Everyone uses it. Good Luck In my researching my briskey/Brisky grandfather line I have found that many families migrated together around 1830's. Many first to GA and then to chambers County,AL and surrounding areas. Lines and counties changed. I have a copy of the heritage of chambers county,al book by heritage publishing. And in this book there is a Jeames W. Howell Family probably decedents of your line. I have located many decendents for other families who started out in SC area. It might be worth a trip to your local library and ask the inner library loan dept to order a copy to look at. It is free. And I find them wonderful resource for outdated books and materials. At least ours is geared for genealogy. Good luck. Email me seperately and mention name and page 166/167 and I'll send more info and a contact person for you for the family.
