Hello, Did any go to chambers county,Al? In my copy of heritage of chambers county,Al by heritage publishing there are several pages of freemans (in marriages). I have found many decendents in this book for other families from SC area. Also GA. And are probably decendents. What is nice the articles each have name and address of contributor as contact for that family. We'll worth time. I would go to your local library and see if they can obtain a copy to look at through your inner library loan dept. Otherwise the book is expensive around 50.00 or so. Good luck Sandel [email protected] Seattle Surnames; Briskey,Brisky,Brisque,Demastus,Sutton,Meadows,Hodnett,Moore,McIntosh,Leverett,mark/merck (States SC, GA, Chambers County,AL, Washington State, TX and france) also looking for melton family chambers county as there are two baby graves from 1850's burried near where our family plantation once stood. Sad in underbrush would be nice to locate family
Hello Sandel, I have been reading your many postings for some time now. Would you mind checking the index of your Heritage book for my surnames who were once in the Pendleton District but then moved south into GA and then on to AL? DOBBS COCKERHAM ESTES Thank you and have a wonderful week. Linda Garland Hayes
