Hello, I'm also researching the same area for my gr gr gr grandfather Nicholas Briskey/Brisky and his wife Elizabeth Merck/Mark. Around 1789. Anyway, In my researching I found that many families migrated around 1830 together from SC to GA around troup and harris countys mostly, and then to chambers County,AL many lines and counties changed. I have a copy of the Heritage of Chambers County,AL book by Heritage Publishing Co, and you maybe able to get a copy to look at through your inner library loan dept of your local library. It's free. Adams are listed on many many pages. I have found decendents for many families who started out in SC area. Baldwin is also listed on page 83 in either marriage to Buckelews or Archibald calhoun family. Hester family also listed on many pages connected with marriages. Might be worth checking into it.
