    2. Hi Barb, Don't know if I've emailed you before. In my researching for my gr gr gr grandfather I found that many families migrated together around 1830's (land grants became available) and many first to GA around troup and harris counties (Counties and states changed dring war time). And many then onto Chambers County,AL. I have a copy of the heritage of chambers county,Al book by heritage publishing co, and in the index Reeves are quite a few probably marriages into other families. I've found many decendents for other families this way. And what is nice the person who sent the article's name and address appear at the end of their article for correspondence. Might be worth a trip to your local library and see if you can obtain a copy through their inner library loan dept to look at. Which is usually free. Also another good one is Bobby Lindsey's Book "Reason for the tears" has many early settlers in it. My gr gr gr grandfather Nicholas Briskey/Brisky was in it. And also a 1832 gold lottery book from GA is good resources. Names pretty much in Alphebetical order. Some tell if in service, some dont. Good luck. I know how those famous brick walls can be. Sandel [email protected] Seattle Surnames; Briskey,Brisky,Brisque,Demastus,Sutton,Meadows,Hodnett,Moore,McIntosh,Leverett,Mark/Merck (States SC,GA, Chambers County,AL, washington State, TX and france)

    3. Thank you so much. I'll head to my local library and search. Hopefully, I'll turn up a connection. Thank you so much for taking time to provide suggestions.
