Hi Wilma, Thank you, yes this is my family. In the 1790 typed version of Brisky/Briskey. It is mispelled. Brishey should be Briskey/Brisky. family members spelled it both ways. I don't know how to change that. I'd like to get deeds of any briskey members. Would that be probate also. Being on disability I don't have much money. I will be coming into my mothers inheritance once we sell her home. I'd like to make a trip to SC and do some research there. Maybe this way I will be able too. It's a large historical family. Nicholas' son Nicholas II got a gold lottery in GA in 1832. Then the family got a plantation in Chambers County,AL with 100 slaves. And also two generations of 13-15 children in each. Nicholas is written in a reason for the tears by bobby lindsey which is a great book on early settlers and gives quite a bit info. Nicholas surveyed for the government for collins ferry route after the indians we're moved out. Anyway, I appreciate any help. Thank you for your time and consideration.
