Thanks, Sandel, for the tip on Chambers Co., Al. I don't know of any of my Freemans that went there, but some of the distant cousins may have. Needham's sons Mark and Benton (mine) stayed in OPD and died there. It is through Mark that the Freeman cousin comes that had the DNA test. That is why I am trying to find out something on the older Mark that was in SC in the 1770s.
