Who can show how each of the below are connected to the various Hendrick/s/on Families that were in South Carolina during the Revolutionary War? A.     3. To whomever was asking about Chickencoop Creek: I found it just above Secession Lake. Rocky River appears to extend from the top of the lake, and Hencoop Creek branches off of the river to the right to the NE, approaching the town of Belton. I noticed a Mr. Chicken was quite well-known at that time; I wonder if this is how the creek got its name. I love that name. I guess because my grandmother's pet name for my grandfather CROW was "Chicken." :-) Hope this is what you needed.
