Pamela, you are looking at my line. Israel CANNON was my 3xgrandfather, Fanny was his widow...John D. his son....Perryman was Israel's brother. Lamira Jane (FOSTER) was John D's wife/widow. Fanny was dau or James CLINTON, RW Vet...they are all buried in Piney Fork Presbyterian Churchyard near Marion, KY. CLINTON has a RW Vet headstone, placed there by the DAR. This line is well documented in Caldwell Co., and I know that Brenda Jerome has done extensive research there. I also have a printout of tax rolls. What we don't know is where John (Israel's father) went to after he sold his land to Israel. John remarried in 1819 to Rachel WOOTEN...sold the land in 1822 I think, I'd have to look up the exact year, and disappeared. thanks for any help anyone can provide...it's one of those brickwalls!!!
