In 1880 if have found 2 mary hunnicutt (one born in 1848 and one in 1847). The one married to edward j in the 1880 census is too old for a 1848 birth date. These other two are probable. I like to do research. If you could provide more info it might be helpful. There are allot of Burris and Hunnicutt living together in NC also around the 1860 and 1850 time frame. All I have for certain right now is Mary E born march 6 1848. Probably married to a Hunnicutt (honeycut, honeycutt, honoycut, hunicut, hunnicut, hunicutt) father Charles Burris (buris, buriss, burris, barris, barras, borrows, etc) mohter Margaret Bryson (bryson, brison, brysen, brisen, etc) I dont know for sure where she was born or died (assuming SC/SC or GA/SC) and dont know her kids names. In return all I would ask is for help in finding the parents of Thomas Hays born abt 1804 pendelton SC He moved quickly on to illinois and than missouri. Would be nice to find a connection back before 1804. dan mcmindes ----- Original Message ---- From: B NICHOLS <barb1228@swbell.net> To: SC-OLD-PENDLETON-DIST-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Saturday, August 26, 2006 1:11:13 PM Subject: Re: [SC-OPD] William Burris Do you know where they lived or where she was born? Barbara, Mary Elizabeth Burris was as confused as I am! Look at the following census records & you'll see what I mean. Herself Father Mother 1870 GA 1880 GA VA NC 1900 TN PA PA 1920 SC SC SC 1930 TN SC TN Mary Elizabeth m Edward J Hunnicutt and lived in Wagner Twp, Oconee Co, SC in 1870. I'm lost as to where her parents might be from. Derrell Oakley Teat
