    3. Acousin is your mother's or father's neice. A cousin once removed, means one more generation on one side only. Your child would be a cousin once removed from YOUR cousin. Your cousin's child, would be once removed from you. But your child and your cousin's child would be second cousins.(no "removed"). Then if one of them had a child, that child would be a second cousin, once removed.
