Researching any Nicholson family lines from Oconee County early 1800's. My great-grandfather was George Stephen Nicholson b. abt. 1825, my grandfather was Robert Andrew Nicholson b. 20 Nov 1850 Salem Oconee County. Cannot seem to get any further back than George Stephen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
