Hi Karen, I have two Nixes. One is probably from Transylvania County, NC. That is Eleanor (1817-1899), d. of William B. Nix and Rebecca ? ; she married Asa Patterson. The other is probably from Scouth Carolina: Mary "Polly" Nix, b. 1833, of whom I can find nothing, except that she married Lewis J. Gilstrap. my gg grandfather. Verne
