Sanford and Mollie, I have been out of town and I am sure I am very late in responding. However, I wonder if you could tell me if any of your birds/byrds married any Ropers? I have two Roper brothers both who were in Pickens county and later moved to Georgia and all we have is that they married someone with the last name Byrd. One of them even moved and died in Oklahoma. I don't mean to repeat this request, I'm looking for a Michael King Byrd that was in Fairfield County,.1794 and did appraisal of property and estates for settlement in death case of the husband, for the surviving family. I have no record of his family or his spouse and children. If someone that uses the Court House or Library, Would you please look for any information that is available to indicate who Michael King Byrd and any of his family would be.
