Cynthia, I have an old copy of Simpson's Old Pendleton District Leading Families, but I just want to thank you for making available all the libraries who have copies. This should benefit a good many people who are researching Old Pendleton families. My problem with mr. Simpson' s work is that he gives little or no reference, other than his own memory, and is extremely short on dates. Cordelia
