I read that the uniform worn by the members of Orr's Rifles was green. However, I have not been able to find out the "shade" of green. I just found at http://www.rootsweb.com/scpicken/civilwar/surnames/g.htm- William H. Golden - served in Orr's Regiment, Company C, Private, Oconee Co., age 17 when enlisted. Richard Golden b ca 1815/1816 had a son named William H. Golden b 1846/1847. Thanks for your help. Harriett ==== SC-OLD-PENDLETON-DIST Mailing List ==== POST !! POST !! POST !!
