I have Crawford in my antecedents from Spartanburg. There could be a connection. Patrick Crawford b. 1750 Ireland, d. 1783 Spartanburg, SC had the following children. Joh b. abt. 1773, Margaret b. abt. 1775 (my line), Jane b. 1779, Patrick Crawford b. abt 1780. I don't know if these two males children of Patrick are connected to yours.
