I can't help with the DNA candidates, but I am still searching for the family/parents/ancestors of my husband's 3rd great grandmother, Celia Emily WOOD. She was born ca 1790, probably in OPD, and ca 1810 she married Robert FARRIBA, which was spelled as "FEREBY" on the 1810 OPD census, on which they were listed as "White Males: 1 16-26; White Females: 1 16-26." Apparently they had only recently married when that census was taken. Their first child was born Feb 26, 1811 in OPD and was named William Ivington Farriba. They had a total of six children, the others being Nancy Ann, b ca 1815 in OPD; Clarissa, b ca 1820 in Franklin County, GA; James, b Oct 17, 1824 in Habersham County, GA; Sevier J., born Mar 20, 1828 in Habersham County, GA; and Debbie Ann, b 1830 in Habersham County, GA. Do any of these given names sound familiar to any of you WOOD/WOODS family researchers? I thought for a long time James might be Joseph Wood's son but that has been disproved. Of course, there's still Jesse out there.
