    3. Al - No Cannon, Cathey or Loudermilk; however,the following is in the book: One line only for Samuel: 122. Samuel B. McLure 001110-10010-0 in the Greenville District, SC, c1790. (Line has not been traced. #2:#226. Joseph Scott 310010-30100-6..James Scott was called for the first(Jan, 1797) jury in Jackson County. Gideon Scott ownedJackson land. 12/2/1798, Archelaus Jarrotof Elbert County sold his adjoining tract to James Mc|Luskey |(McClesky) . May 5, 1799 |James Scott sold toJosiah Carver land on Curcy's (Currier's) Creek which was originally granated to Thomas Carson who sold it to Joseph Scott.In 1805 lottery were Scotts: Andrew, Abraham, Joseph, William. Joseph m: Nancy Wood 3/3/1817. In 1820: Aron or Ann, Daniel, William and Thomas. Connected in some way with Stewarts, Wyatts and Woods families of GA.John Scott of Elbert County and Archibald Scott ofFranklin Co in 1811sold land in Jasper Co. to Wm Stewart of Jackson Co.and John Wyatt. There's a John Scott in Amherst Co, VA wo m: Elizabeth Dillard 2/10/1772. Scott died in Wilkes co, Ga leaving land on Kettle Creek and 19 slaves. His wido, Elizabeth(Dillard) Scott a son-in-law, Thomas Gresham,were administrators of Scott in 1795. The wido m: John Haynes. Thomas and Elizabeth are found in deed records of Franklin Co in 1790. William married there (Ann Coil) in 1808.
