    3. (715) Franklin Kennedy: 000100-00100-...Joseph Canada 14200 and Joseph Canada 13600 were eunmerated in Pendleton District, SC in 1790. Pendleton became Oconee (where theylived) they were there in1800. Thomas Cannaday 11002-30110 and Charles Kennedy 60021-00100-6. In the part that became Anderson County, Joseph Kennedy 31101-21010 and Mansefield Kennedy20010-00100-4. It is suggested that the Maxfield Kennedy listed in 1805 Jackson lottery was the same manas Mansefield of |Pendleton. In 1805 John Canaday was taxed in McKeever's district on MulberryFork, as was Jesse Cannaday. John Cannaday and James Kenaday listedin Gwinett County in1820. Some evidence that John Canaday was from Rowan or O|range Co, NC. David and Jesse |Kennedy, probablythe men in Jackson in 1805 were enumerated in Clarke County in 1820. David, James, Janeand Samuel Kennedy were in Washington County; Thomas Kenady was in Hall County, andvariousothers were found over the state in Hall Co along with David, John Jr.,and John Canady, Sr. Hope it helps...The only Kennedy listed. 3. Barb Thank you so much for sharing this information. Many of my Kennedy ancestors are buried in GA and although my trip this summer was way too short I had the privilege for the first time in my life to visit the graves of my ggggrparent's -John and Barbara [Kirkpatrick] Kennedy, Sr at the old Puckett Cemetery just outside Cartersville, Bartow Co, GA as well as the graves of other Kennedy kin at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville. Several of the names you mentioned are familiar and your info will open up more avenues of research. 3. Rex: It's just wonderful to stand at the foot of their grave; or, visit where they lived and know they walked the same path. Happy Hunting.
