Dick, Thanks for the note. At the moment I am not aware of any of my Kirbys having lived in Alabama but I am not going to rule that out. If per chance you run into McClenny, Pellum [Pelham], Carr, Kirkland, Granberry and possibly Whitehead over in Alabama several of whom came from SC they are probably kin.
