Elijah Brown of Pendleton sold on 3 Aapril 1790 to Wm. Spiers Brown of Lincoln Co., NC land on Rocky River and Hencoop Creek granted to SAMUEL CALDWELL in 15 Oct. 1784. Stewart, p. 102 Moor's Reg't now Anderson Co. census p. 43, under household # 155 for Wm. Drennan, has the follow notes: At the Jan. 1792 Pendleton Court, Wm. Drennan, Wm. Thompson, and DAVID CALDWELL sued Joseph Culton, Sr. for trepass. Wm. Drennan sold 2 March 1793 some livestock to JOHN PICKENS CALDWELL with David Drennan and DAVID CALDWELL as witnesses.
