Judy, Stewart p.90 Kirkpatrick's Reg't (now Oconee) census page 38 household #1039 which is Andrew Brown has a note following the Brown entry: "A Hugh Brown was enumerated in the 1800 census in the Oconee area. Elijah Brown of Pendleton sold on 3 Aapril 1790 to Wm. Spiers Brown of Lincoln Co., NC land on Rocky River and Hencoop Creek granted to SAMUEL CALDWELL in 15 Oct. 1784. Stewart, p. 102 Moor's Reg't now Anderson Co. census p. 43, under household # 155 for Wm. Drennan, has the follow notes: At the Jan. 1792 Pendleton Court, Wm. Drennan, Wm. Thompson, and DAVID CALDWELL sued Joseph Culton, Sr. for trepass. Wm. Drennan sold 2 March 1793 some livestock to JOHN PICKENS CALDWELL with David Drennan and DAVID CALDWELL as witnesses. Stewart p. 116 household #714 John Caldwell 22001 - 200010-10 Stewart p. 117 household #750 David Caldwell 310010 - 11010-00 Stewart p. 120 household #930 Robert Caldwell 00001 -`00010-00 That's it for Caldwells. Many Caldwells from Chester Co., SC relocated to Tippah Co. MS where they formed the largest part of the Hopewell ARP congregation. Cordelia
