I am trying to locate the records (or any record of the marriage) of a Justice of Peace Shelton/Sheldon who performed the marriage ceremony of my Grandfather, Winfield Tillman Carroll and my Grandmother, Cora Louise Jaynes. They were married February 19, 1912. I only have her Bible record which has this bit of information, but she also included the names of their witnesses - "Hellers" who were my Grandfather's cousins. Not sure if they were married in Oconee/Anderson or Picken's County. Any help will be appreciated. Vivian cpvp@aol.com
