DB:I:331) When Jacob Cooley, Sr. deeded his dau. Nancy [Cooley Reese] Holliday a Negro girl Hannah in 1807 Stephen Butterworth was one of the witnesses. (Grnv. DB H:307) Do you know what happened to Stephen & where he was from? I was curious about the 2a that Butterworth excepted.
