    2. Listers, Late last week someone asked me to look up LOOPER in Stewart's 1800 Pendleton Census Analysis. I cannot recall the person's name, but apparently she was confused with the numbering system. I hope the following will clarify the situation. Brown's Regiment for what is now Pickens County Stewart numbers from pages 1 to 33 Actual census pages covered are 1 to 18 HH numbers run from # 1 (John Brown) through 912 (Margaret Wilkinson) Kilpatrick's Regiment for what is now Oconee County Stewart's pages run from 33 to 96 Actual census pages are 18 to 39 HH are numbered 1 (David Sloan) through 1085 (Luke Smith) Moor's Regiment for what is now Anderson County Stewart's pages run from 96 through 122 Actual census pages covered are 39 through 60 HH's are numbered 1 (Hugh Saxon) through 1017 (Jonathan Gibbs). Now for the LOOPER data: Brown's Regiment - Pickens County Stewart's page 10, census page 5 HH# 252 Samuel Looper 20010-10010-00 HH# 257 Joseph Looper 01101-01001-00 HH# 260 Jeremiah Looper 00100-00100-00 Stewart's page 11, census page 6 HH# 274 Joseph Looper 00100-00100-00 There are no accompanying notations.
