    1. Re: [SC-OPD] Akins / Morgan / more
    2. Hello, I'm also researching the same area in SC, also many families migrated together around 1830's for land grants in GA around troup and harris counties, and later moved on to Chambers County,AL many lines and counties etc changed. I have a copy of the heritage of chambers county,al book by heritage publishing co and in the index it states several pages for atkins family (probably connected with church's, schools and marriages. You might go to your local library and ask them to try to order a copy through your inner library loan dept. Usually it's free. Also Morgan is very big in the book and there is a morgan county in al. You will probably find these are decendents of these original families or the families themselves. I have found many for others this way. Also what is nice is in the book the names and addresses of the decendents are after each article for contact. I wish you good luck.
