There is much information about Herman HUSBAND on Rootsweb. And you probably can find more by doing a google search. After he left NC he was involved with the WHISKEY REBELLION. One of his wives, the first I think, was Mary PUGH. I think she was the sister of JAMES PUGH who was probably hung at Alamance also. The reason I say probably, is a note which mentions an 1810 will that mentions his children. I would appreciate any information about the PUGH family. Where did the children of James PUGH go? What are their names. and the name of his wife ? There might be some notes that he had 6 or 8 children and they were forced along with his wife to watch the execution. I don't have my information at hand so might not be completely accurate. There should also be information on the NC Genweb site.
