Does anyone have any information on this Cowan Family? Lucinda E. Mauldin was married to J. C. Cowan from Pickens/Oconee Counties South Carolina. J. C. Cowan was killed during the Civil War. Mrs. Cowan Died Sept. 25, 1909: >From the Tuguloo Tribune Sept. 28, 1909: Mrs. Lucinda Cowan aged about 85 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Leathers at Pelzer on Sept. 25, 1909. She leaves 3 daughters and one son. Her son, James H. Cowan, resides near Westminster. He and Clyde Cowan attended the burial at Pelzer last week. Thanks. Rose D. Stuart [email protected]
