Sandel, You can find Rev War Pension extracts at any LDS Library. They have a great big book on it. You can contact the National Archives in Washington, DC re: any Rev War Pension. I went to their location in Southern CA and viewed the film of one of my RW vets file. When I "get rich" I will order it....because it contains all the pay vouchers, there are lots of pages and it will cost $50. There is no charge for just viewing the films...if you are just looking for info, you can take a pad and pencil and take notes. As to the SC Archives: I'll have to look in my files and get an E-address for you. The same for the Charleston Public Library....there are on individual pages that I printed so will take some time to find one....must go and make dinner now. later, Janice
Some of the Rev. War pension files have pay vouchers and pages, but some don't. My ancestor's file is supposed to have 42 pages, but when we ordered it there were three pages, mostly illegible. I can't remember how much it cost (it was under $50, I guess because the file was so small) but it didn't really tell us anything new. I don't want to throw cold water over it or anything, but I'd hate for you to get your hopes up and then get a file like we did. *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** On 3/18/04 at 8:16 PM [email protected] wrote: >Sandel, You can find Rev War Pension extracts at any LDS Library.
