Hello, In my researching of my gr gr gr grandfather Nicholas Briskey/Brisky I found many families to migrate together around 1830's. To GA and then onto chambers County, AL or other parts of Alabama. I have a copy of the heritage of Chambers County AL book by Heritage Publishing and in the index there is a clardy family member listed looks like married into owens family some way. There's too much to read. Anyway I found many decendents of abbeville and SC through this book for other people. So you might want to see if you can obtain a copy through your local library inner library loan dept. They are a great resource for genealogy. Names and addresses of the decendents who submitted the articles are in the book.
