Dear Linda, My Computer has been down for almost a Month and I JUST got it up and Running.Although this may not be pertinent to you,but I thought that I Had Better send it anyway.That BURRELL "RIVES" may well have been the SON of one Reverand John Edward Rives,who married Mary Whelchey or Whelchel( please see HALL COUNTY HISTORY by Sybil Mcray on the WARREN Family).I believe That one of these Families wre The Famililies of one John Henry Burress who died in Forsyte County Ga, near Murrayville. My allied family was Through John Edward Rives and Elizabeth Warren Rives. one of their Sons was a BURWELL EDWARD RIVES.He had brothers & Sisters Lucinda Rives,Rueben Troupe Rives.John Forsyte Rives.Dorinda Caroline Rives,Thomas Valentine Rives,William Rufus Rives,Burwell Edward Rives,Mary S Rives,and James Rives. John Henry Burrus b 14 Jan 1826-28 jun 1865 m 1st 1851 Murrayville,Ga Mary Mccrary b Ga d before 1856 Forsyte County Ga He married 2ndly one Sarah Jane Elizabeth Rives. b 15 Oct 1835 died in 1904. She was The SISTER of my Elizabeth Warren who married Reverand John Edward Rives. This Sara Elizabeth Rives also was Married to a MCKINNEY if my Memory Serves me right,and his name was Richard or "DICK McKinney".
