    2. Hello, I am also researching SC area. And found in looking for my gr gr gr grandfather Nicholas Briskey/Brisky that many families migrated together around 1830's. Some to first GA and then onto Chambers County, AL. I have a copy of the Heritage of chambers County, AL book, and I found a listing for Pitts. And it's probably decendent from your line. Page 241 with Picture of Julius Caesar Pitts and Viola Bennett Pitts. Michael T Pitts (1821-1881) was born in South carolina moved to Chambers in 1840's. So this is probably decendent. If you email me seperately and give Pitts name and page I will give you more details. And it has a person's contact name for decendent who sent the article in.
