I received a letter from John. He stated he had got able to work again. I have not herd from Philip in some time. The counection is all well in this contry and doing tolerable well. Tell William Burns to write to me. You said in your letter that (unreadable) Brooks married Martha Burns. I never herd that his wife was dead. You stated that his three oldest daughters had joined the church. I could not tell whether they were Brooks or Burns daug! > hters, from the way it stated in your letter.
