    3. Hi Barb! Is this the book that you all are referring to on the list: Gone to Georgia : Jackson and Gwinnett counties and their neighbors in the western migration / compiled and with an introduction by William C. Stewart. by Stewart, William C., 1907- National Genealogical Society, 1965 If so, then I will not ask for a lookup and will go to my local library and look up the info (I go at least once a week anyway!!) I have several that I am looking at that came to GA from SC, especially the area in and around OPD. I just found out that my neighbor's ancestors were living in OPD for a short time then crossed the line into Franklin County. My boyfriend's ancestor went to Hall County, GA and another friend of mine's ancestor came to GA as well!! I think mine stayed put or moved up into NC (some collateral lines went to GA and points west.) Nice of you to offer lookups, though. 3. Rex - No Gunn; however, ther is a GINN/GWIN/GYNNE/GWYNN listed: The Ginn and Gwinn or Gwynn families do not appear to be the same; but, sucha bewildering variation of spellings in old documents exists that the families often are confused. Anyone attempting to traceofof these families shouldcheckall names with similar sound: Jordan Ginn 1805 Jackson County lottery.1820 Jesse and Isaac Ginn and other of the family using that spelling wer found only in Elbert County. Jordan Jinn (another sp) was enumerated (no. 212)in Gwinett County and No. 25 was Frederick McGinn (Guinn next listing). Rex - there are two pages (282 & 283) about this group...one Revolutionary soldier, Richard Guinn, d:In Effingham County, GA. Wife: Elizabeth, daughters: Mary and Elizabeth married Alexander (Mary) and Eliz. m: Shepherd. If this is your line with a different spelling, it's loaded with info. Let me know.
