I don't see any of the given names you mentioned, but there are Selfs who married into several of my families. I am not sure, but I think they were in Oglethorpe Co., GA. I know they were in Franklin Co., TN. They possibly were in Benton/Calhoun Co., AL and then they moved to Nacogdoches Co., Texas. I don't research them, but I see them when I do research. hi, Who is the author of the book "Gone To Georgia?" When was the book published? Thanks, Kae
I have a letter written in 1852 from Cherokee County, Georgia, to Old Pickens District, South Carolina. This letter was delivered to present day Oconee County, South Carolina. The surnames SMITH, BURNS, BROOKS, and SANDERS are mentioned in the letter.
Do you have a Samuel Kelly or John/Spencer Self? Thanks for your generosity with everyone.
If its not too much trouble to look, are there any Cole, Bass, Robins/Robbins, Fuller and or Swaffords in the book? Thank you
