    3. Thank you. My Floyds were gone from South Carolina by about 1805. They were in Kentucky for a couple of years and then in Franklin Co., TN. 1. Floyd or Ford and STEWARTs in GA (and Burfords)
    2. DS
    3. Hi Barb, There's also a page in there somewhere that talks to alliance between FLOYDs, STEWARTs, and BURFORDs. Do you suppose the FLOYD (GA/SC)/STEWART (VA) alliance mentioned below also pertains to the page in the GtG book about Floyds/Stewarts/Burfords? I always took the Floyd / Stewart / Burford page as standalone and generic, but this paragraph (which page is this?) potentially puts new light on the subject. Cheers from a snowy 6600 ft, Dick Stewart Colorado ===================== No Fords in book. Enoch Floyd: A man of this name was in Spartanburg District, SC in1790.
