    3. Hi Sue, My you are fast. Thank you. When you have time I have the names of James Lowry-Lowery, Thomas, Mary Ann (Polly) and Sarah who later remarried to John Miller. There was also a daughter Theresa who was married to a LeRoy Pullin. Also a Henry and Jackson. I know thats a lot but I'm a patient lady. So when ever you get the time. I've hit a brick wall on this family. Bless You Wanda sue hall mills wrote: > > I find no will for a Lowery but I do find them as purchasers at estate > sales. 1. Re: [SC-OPD] RE: DURHAM, THOMPSON, MORTON, STEWART, ETC
    2. Bob and Ray - I have Mortons,Durhams,Thompsons in my lines. When Marshall Morton, Sr. left SC and moved to Blount County, AL (before 1830 because that is where they were for 1830 Census) There were Thompsons,Gregorys,Mortons and later Durhams that went with him. Marshall Morton, Sr. was the father of William M. Morton, Sr. William M. Morton, Sr. married Elizabeth Thompson. Don't know yet how to tie in parents and siblings but in 1830 census of Blount Co.,AL I have Marshall Morton, Sr. on page 8 and Joshua Thompson on page 9 . William Thompson, on page 21 was between 50/60 yrs. old. Marshall Morton was in 60/70 yr old range. Will continue to search and will add to list if I find anything for proof. Patricia Camp-Mullis

    1. Re: [SC-OPD] MORTON AND THOMPSON ROLL CALL
    2. Jan - Wish I had more to offer you on the THOMPSON line. I just found my Elizabeth THOMPSON B abt 1790( in SC) who married my William M. MORTON B abt 1787/88 also in SC. Their first child was born ABT 1812(William M. Morton, Jr.) When the MORTONs and THOMPSONs moved to Blount Co.,AL they lived close together. The 1830 Census for Blount Co.,AL shows my William M. Morton, Sr.,his father William Morton, Sr., and assorted brothers living in same area as John Thompson, Joshua Thompson and William Thompson. Marshall Morton, Sr. was found on page 8, Joshua Thompson on page 9. Still don't know how to put the Thompson family together. Can't tell who were brothers, uncles or father to my Elizabeth Thompson but they must be family. Found all of them in Pickens,SC before their move to NE Alabama. Good luck on your search.
