This list was my brain child and I've watched it grow into a great group of neighbors. The Old Pendleton District was where several of my ancestors came from. There is my great great grandmother, Mary Jane Spearman who was born on Brushy Creek, Old Pendleton District, S C. She married a man from there named John Moore. While I have information on her heritage way back to when her Spearman ancestors migrated from Virginia to South Carolina, I have yet to track down the heritage of John Moore's father and mother. All we know about John's parents was that his father was James M Moore born 1797 in S C, and his wife, Mary G was born 1812 S C, beyond this its like they came from nowhere and disappeared the same way.
