She was the daughter of Thomas Vining and Millie Fuqua POOL MILLER. Early they had lived in Columbus GA. During or after the Civil War they moved to Pike Co. AL. Tabitha married Hugh Ross RODGERS in Columbus GA May 16, 1850. The RODGERS family was from Mecklenberg/Cabaruss Cos. NC. The RODGERS moved from NC to Muscogee GA about 1830.
