Will of Mary Rivers, Edgefield Co, SC, Nov, 1802, Box 044 pkg 1861 Recorded Feb 3, 1812 I Mary Rivers of the State and District aforesaid being of sound mind and memory but weak in body do make and declare this my last will and testimentin manner and form as following: To my daugher Lucy Garrett one feather bed & furniture, and my mahogany table. To my son John Rivers one feather bed & furniture and my mahogany desk, and (one boy Cobb) one year old last spring. I give to my son (Simon/Thomas) Garrett the tract of land purchased by me of William King to him & his heirs My will & desire is that all the rest of my estate after payment of all just debts be sold & equally divided between William Garrett, Stephen Garrett, Thomas Garrett, Abraham (M) Wade, Charley Hammond, Lucy Garrett & John Rivers as the lawful heirs.
