Box 35, pkg # 1313] In the name of God Amen, I John Cogburn of the state of SC and Edgefield Dist.....this my last will and testament .......I dispose of the (worldly estate) in the following manner and form: First I give unto Rachel Hagins my well beloved daughter: half of her part of the legacy to her land her heirs and the other half to the heirs of Rice Cleveland. Second I give and bequeath to Moses Cogburn my well beloved son and all the rest of my children with my wife an equal part of my personal estate except [Elick Edmonds] his right and title to the estate I give and bequeath unto my granddaughter Lydia Edmonds. I also want my wife to keep my youngest son's part till he comes of age. Also I want her to keep her grand daughter's part till she marrys or comes of age. Also I John Cogburn do ordain that my wife Hannah Cogburn, Aron Cogburn and John Cogburn my sole executors and extrx of this my LWT....... I hereunto set my hand and seal this 13th of Jan. 1810.
