Audrey: You asked where I got my information. Edward North, St. Paul's Parish. Wife: Ealce (Cook).Sons: John, Edward, William Haze and daughters: Elizabeth snd Susannah. This is from Will Book 1740-1747 p. 121. John North, St. Bartholomew's Parish, Colleton County. Wife: Mary (Bee). Sons: Edward,` John, Charles, and Bee. Daughter: Susannah. This is from Will Book 1760-1767 p. 614. The first John North immigrated from England in 1714. His son Edward born ca. 1700 in England married Ealce Cook, daughter of John Cook who immigrated with John North. Edward North's eldest son, John (above) married Mary (Bee) John and Mary's second son, John married --------- and his son John J. North was born Nov 16, 1792 in Colleton District, SC John J. is my gr gr grandfather. He moved to GA about 1810. He is buried in the North Cemetery in DuPont, Clinch County, GA. I am still hoping to find out if John (second son of John and Mary) married Susannah (widow North) who died in Charleston 1860. ENP
