In 1790 census HEADS OF FAMILIES, SC, there are 7 listings for McKnight. Five of these are found in Georgetown District, Prince Fredericks Parish. James McKnight is found in Camden District, Clarendon Co. and Elizabeth McKnight is found in Beaufort District. Best bet probably would be Georgetown District, where the 5 families are found.
