The best you could do for birth certificates from SC would be from other records; will, etc. SC didn't require birth certificates until very late. From The Handy Book of Genealogist, it states: "Birth and death records from 1915 to the present are in the Office of Vital Records, 2600 Bull Street, Columbia, SC 29201. However, there are some compiled records, but I believe they too are taken from other sources. Sorry, many of us have wanted birth records of our ancestors from SC but to no avail.
