    3. Well, yes Joe, I don't want to do some private eye's work for him under the guise of genealogy, but I think that is not the most likely problem. Another thing that concerns me is the potential for invasion of privacy... like a mother who doesn't want to be found by a long ago adopted child ... or the reverse. BUT... many living cousins have been found on all of my lines and they are the neatest bunch ... ones I would not want to have missed. I get the impression that this sort of thing happens to lots of us... so.. I guess , with a few good experiences, one could be more actively looking for living co-descendants (or whatever the term) ron A downstream son of So.
