Audrey....if you ever run across a Samuel Taylor who married and Ann Plowden.......please let me know. They had a dau Susannah Elizabeth who married my 5th gr grfather. Lore says they were from Virginia. I have never found anything on them. These folks are a major brick wall for a number of folks. We have not found any documentation that links them to the Taylor or Plowden fam in SC. Susannah Elizabeth married CPT. William Henry Mouzon. They moved from St. John's Parish to Williamsburg county in the late 1700's. thanks Betty
