Any connection between these surnames is of interest to me. Here are some of the individuals I think may be related: 1. Thomas BURFORD b. 1750 VA (parents unknown) m. Mary WADE b. 1761 VA dau. of Edward (b. 1727 VA) and Mary Clements WADE. 2. Benjamin CLEMENTS son of Benjamin (b. abt. 1680) and Grissell Coleman CLEMENTS. 3. Grissell CLEMENTS b. abt. 1725, parents unknown. (m. a BURFORD?) 4. Mary CLEMENTS b. abt. 1730 VA who m. Edward WADE b. 1727 VA. 5. Peyton CLEMENTS b. abt. 1725, parents unknown (m. a BURFORD?) 6. Edward WADE b. 1760 VA son of Edward (b. 1727) and Mary Clements WADE. Edward b. 1760 m. Nancy Ann (surname unknown but maybe BURFORD). Most of the above people had the other surnames and the other given names in their lines. I am confused as to how they may connect but maybe someone can help me with clearing that up.
